Broken car windows
Vandals broke the back window of a 2001 Dodge Durango parked overnight on the 6800 block of Tennessee Drive, said. The window was worth about $500.
That same night, vandals shattered the rear window of a van parked in the driveway of a home on the 8900 block of Kilkenny, police said. The window was also worth about $500.

Attempted burglary
Burglars tried to pry open the door of a home on the 8900 block of Brandon sometime between 8 a.m. April 4 and 8 a.m. April 5, police said. No one entered the home, but the door was damaged by pry marks.
Tuesday, April 3Attempted shoplifting
An employee at the AT&T store on 75th Street said a man tried to steal an iPad and iPhone, together worth about $1,500, around 2:25 p.m., police said. The man, however, fell as he tried to leave the store and abandoned the items.

Bricks shatter window
Vandals threw two landscape bricks through the front window of a house on the 6900 block of Irish Court around 2 a.m., police said. The bricks caused about $1,300 in damage.
Monday, April 2Home burglary
A burglar pried open the back door of a home on the 7600 block of Adams sometime between 6:30 a.m. and 11:17 a.m., police said. The $19,000 worth of stolen items included a 50-inch flat screen TV, two firearms and a 2006 silver Mustang. The Mustang was later found in Indiana, according to the report.
Pickpocketing at The Patio
A pickpocket took a wallet from a woman’s purse while she ate at The Patio, 7440 S. Kingery Highway, police said. Credit cards that were inside the purse were used a short time later. The total loss was about $150.
Saturday, March 31Food on mailbox
Vandals threw food on a mailbox in front of a home overnight on the 8300 block of Parkview, police said. The resident told police someone had egged the home earlier that week.
Car burglary
A car parked in the lot of Self-Storage, 1001 N. Frontage Road, was burglarized around 2:20 p.m., police said. Items taken include a wallet, cash, credit cards, check book and cell phone with a combined value of about $500.
Friday, March 30Shed handle damaged
Vandals did about $100 in damage overnight to the handle of a backyard shed on the 7300 block of Williams, police said.
Thursday, March 29Car burglary
A burglar took $100 cash from an unlocked car parked in the Culver’s parking lot around 8:45 p.m., police said.
