An update on DuPage County Court cases making headlines.

Woodridge:

Michael Dehlinger of Woodridge pleaded guilty Aug. 28 for his part in a methamphetamine conspiracy, and agreed to testify against a co-defendant as part of the deal with prosecutors. Dehlinger was arrested in May after police discovered a small meth lab, drugs and drug paraphernalia inside his apartment while serving him an arrest warrant on theft charges. He was initially charged with conspiracy to make meth and possession of meth-making materials, but pleaded guilty in the deal to possessing less than 30 grams of "methamphetamine precursor," court records show. He was sentenced to 180 days in DuPage County Jail, with credit for time already served, placed on two years of probation, ordered to pay $2,440 and to undergo regular drug testing. He also cannot have contact with, but must testify against, John Stark, who awaits trial on meth conspiracy and possession with intent to deliver charges.
