Nothing But Skin and a Skull Cap

A woman saw a naked man at about 4:45 a.m. Sept. 25 at an apartment complex on the 1700 block of East 22nd Street, according to a police report. The woman was walking her dog around the east side of one of the buildings toward 22nd Street.

The man was completely naked except for a dark-colored knit skull cap, the report said. He was described as white, heavyset and in his late twenties or early thirties.

These Skittles Make You Fly

A juvenile told police that he was at a party at his girlfriend's house when someone gave him something that he thought were Skittles candy at 12:42 a.m. Oct. 3. He said they tasted and looked like Skittles, came from a Skittles bag and were red. After he ate them, he said he "felt like flying." It was discovered someone had slipped him several antihistamines.

Help a Stumbler Get Home

An officer at 11:47 p.m. Oct. 5 gave a man a ride home after he unsuccessfully tried to find his sister's house after drinking. Someone called police and said the man was stumbling around at the corner of McIntosh and Burlington avenues.

Sorry, Officer

A Clarendon Hills woman came into the police station at 4:53 p.m. Oct. 4 with her son to speak to a specific officer. The son apologized for lying to the officer over the summer when he accused three boys of robbing him, according to a report.

DOWNERS GROVE

Don’t Make It Easy For Those Crooks

Someone took a pizza delivery employee's car on Oct. 6 in downtown Downers Grove, according to police.

The employee had just completed a delivery and arrived back at the restaurant at about 10:45 p.m.

"He advised that he left the doors unlocked and the keys in the cup holder of the vehicle," the report said. "He advised that he went inside when he arrived back and began to mop."

At about 11 p.m., the employee looked outside and no longer saw his blue 2002 Kia Optima parked out front. Read the full report.

Egging ‘Em On

Two separate egging incidents occurred Sept. 29 and 30 in Downers Grove, according to police.

A house was egged sometime between 10 p.m. Sept. 29 and 6 a.m. Sept. 30 on the 3900 block of Sterling Road, according to a report. The female resident noticed broken eggs on the front of the house.

In the other incident, a black 2010 Cadillac SRX was egged sometime between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Sept. 29, according to a separate police report. On Sept. 30, a woman noticed egg on the driver's side front and rear door on the 4500 block of Linscott Avenue.

There were no leads or suspects in either incident.

An Unwanted Remodel

Someone threw eggs, toilet paper, and wrote in spray paint and shaving cream on a residence on the 500 block of Singer. The incident occurred sometime between 11 p.m. Sept. 26 and 6:25 a.m. Sept. 27, according to police.
