Police: Armed Robbery Suspect in Custody
Both incidents took place at Walgreen's on Cass Avenue in Darien.
A suspect has been apprehended in two armed robberies that took place at the Walgreen's on Cass Avenue in Darien, Police Chief Robert Pavelchik said Tuesday.
The first incident happened Sunday night and the second occurred Monday around 5 p.m., Pavelchik said.
Although the suspect did display a weapon, Pavelchik said at Monday's City Council meeting that it was not a gun.

Darien Police said they are working with the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office on charging the suspect and will release his name when charges have been filed.
