Police Blotter: Car, Garage Spraypainted in Same Lot

Darien police reports, Jan. 7-9.

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 9

2 Spraypainting Incidents

Two incidents of spraypainting were reported between 1 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of Plainfield Road. 

At one home, the resident reported a car being spraypainted. The estimated damage was $1,500.

Sometime during the night there was also a garage in the same parking lot that was spraypainted. The estimated damage was $100.

Cell Phone Stolen

A man told police his cell phone was taken around 1:30 p.m. while at McDonald's in the 800 block of Plainfield Road. The man said he noticed the phone was missing from his belt holder. The estimated loss was $150.
