Police Blotter: Car Window Shattered on Mayfair, Car Burglary at Brookhaven

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 18
Burglary from Motor Vehicle
Sometime between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., someone broke the rear passenger side window of an SUV parked in the parking lot of Brookhaven Marketplace at 7516 Cass Avenue and stole a purse that was on the floor of the backseat. The victim told Darien Police the loss was about $600.

Theft
At about 11:40 p.m., someone took a cell phone from a table left in the 7500 Block of Country Lane. Estimated loss was $200.

Criminal Damage to Property
Sometime between 8:30 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. someone shattered the front passenger window of a car parked on the street on the 7800 Block of Mayfair. Total loss was estimated at $200.
