DUI on Cass

Eve T. Jones, 45, of the 300 block of Round Hill Court, Bolingbrook, was arrested about 3:16 a.m. on the 8300 block of Cass Avenue, said. Police said they stopped Jones because she was driving 20-30 mph in a 40 mph zone, weaving within the lane and she stopped at a green light for more than three seconds. When the officers pulled her over, they said she had slurred speech and glassy eyes, and smelled strongly of alcohol. She told police she had been drinking, according to the report. A Breathalyzer test registered her blood-alcohol content at nearly twice the legal limit, police said. She was charged with one count of DUI-physical control, one count of DUI-over .08, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, illegal parking on a roadway and failure to signal, police said.
