Police Blotter: Lion Statue Stolen From Home

Mailbox Broken

A mailbox in the 3500 block of Burgess was damaged sometime between 8 p.m. Jan. 26 and 6 a.m. Jan. 27. Someone bent the door of the mailbox in half, rendering it inoperable. The estimated damage was $80.

The resident also found an outdoor cable box cover from the back yard on the windshield of the car parked on the driveway. There did not appear to be any damage to the vehicle or cable box cover.

Lion Statue Stolen

A concrete statue of a lion was stolen from the front porch of a home in the 900 block of Juniper. The resident reported the incident at 10 a.m. Sunday but said the last time they saw it was a couple of days earlier. The estimated loss was $100.
