SUNDAY, AUGUST 5
Burglary from Motor Vehicle
Someone broke into a car on the 1100 Block of Hinswood sometime between Aug. 3 and Aug. 5. The burglary occurred between the hours of 3 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. According to reports, a red toolbox on the floor of the passenger side was stolen. The owner of the car said he had left the driver's door unlocked while parked in the parking lot. When the driver got in the car to drive to work, he noticed that his tool box was missing. The estimated loss was around $400.
Theft
Sometime between Aug. 1 and Aug. 5, someone stole four iron/metal patio chairs from a fenced backyard patio on the 8100 Block of Arrow. The rear gate to the property was observed open. Estimated loss was $100.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 1
Burglary from Motor Vehicle
At about 1:30 a.m., a resident on the 300 Block of 69th Street discovered that his white Apple 4th Generation IPod touch with black and gray case and a cracked screen was missing from the front console of his car. According to police reports, the owner did not see any signs of forced entry and believes the doors were left unlocked. Estimated loss was $200.

Burglary from Motor Vehicle
Sometime between 8 p.m. July 31 and 6 a.m. Aug. 1, someone broke into a car on the 6900 Block of Eleanor. The car's glove box was open and had been gone through, according to police reports. A Garmin GPS unit was reported missing. The glove box was open and the contents were on the passenger seat, according to the car's owner. The car was parked in the driveway and left unlocked. Estimated loss was $150.
