Police Blotter: Several Criminal Property Damage Incidents on Nantucket

Darien police reports Aug. 24 - Sept. 2.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 2

Theft

Between 3 p.m. on Sept. 1 and 6 a.m. on Sept. 2, someone removed a flower pot a resident's property on the 7800 Block of Nantucket Drive and threw it onto the neighbors driveway. The person who did it also removed a windsock from the front of the home. Total loss was listed as $10.

Criminal Damage to Property

Between 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 31 and 2:23 a.m. on Sept. 2, three homeowners reported to Darien Police that someone had damaged their mailboxes on the 7600 Block of Nantucket Drive. Estimated damage was $100 for each of the mailboxes.
