Baby Jesus, light-up cow stolen
- A resident of 70th Street told police someone removed a light-up baby Jesus with an estimated value of $25 from the front yard.
- Police said a four-foot light-up cow wearing a Santa hat, valued at $40, was stolen from the front lawn of a home on 69th Street.
DUI on Lemont Road
Tamell E. Sumler, 23, of the 6000 block of Blodgett Ave. in Downers Grove, was charged with driving under the influence physical control, DUI with a blood-alcohol content of more than .08, speeding, improper lane use and no insurance. Police said they observed him swerving and speeding 55 mph in a 40-mph zone in the 8900 block of Lemont Road at 1:29 a.m. Sumler has a Jan. 17 court date.
Trash can stolen
Someone removed a trash can with an estimated value of $50 from a property in the 7300 block of Bunker.

Criminal damage to property
Police reports indicate a laundry change machine with an estimated value of $100 was pried off the wall of a business in the 1500 block of Lakeview.
Monday, Dec. 12Christmas lights damaged
Someone cut two strands of exterior Christmas lights at a home on Greenbriar between 10 p.m. Dec. 12 and 5 p.m. Dec. 13. Damage was estimated at $50.

Intoxicated pedestrian
Police arrested Luis M. Felix, 23, of the 1200 block of N. Raynor Ave. in Joliet, at 4:20 a.m. on the 300 block of Plainfield Road, according to reports. Felix was charged with being an intoxicated pedestrian in a roadway after officers said he jumped in front of a vehicle and remained in the roadway until police arrived.
Saturday, Dec. 10House egged
A resident of Galway Court told police someone threw eggs at the home. No damage was reported.
