Police Blotter: Two DUIs, Underage Drinking

Monday, Oct. 31

DUI near Cass and North Frontage

Stacy L. Huth, 41, of the 700 block of Quincy Drive in Hinsdale, was arrested around 2:25 a.m. near the intersection of Cass Avenue and North Frontage Road, said. Officers pulled her over after they saw her make lane changes and a U-turn without signaling, according to the report. Officers said she smelled strongly of alcohol and had red, glassy eyes. Huth’s blood alcohol levels were nearly twice the legal limit, according to Breathalyzer test results. She was charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count of failure to signal, police said. She was given a Dec. 6 court date.

Sunday, Oct. 30

Underage drinking

Aries P. Spiller, 19, of the 00S600 block of Lilac Lane in Willowbrook, was arrested around 12:30 a.m. on the 7400 block of Brookdale, police said. Officers were responding to a report of a loud party, according to police. When officers tried to speak with Spiller, they said he ran from them. Spiller was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor and given a Dec. 6 court date.

Saturday, Oct. 29

DUI near Lemont and Woodcrest

Janina Kackert, 27, of the 8500 block of Commons Drive in Hickory Hills, was arrested around 2:20 a.m. near the intersection of Lemont and Woodcrest, police said. Officers said they saw her swerving between lanes. When they pulled her over, she had red, glassy eyes and smelled strongly of alcohol, according to the report. She told police she had drank a glass of wine, the report said. She was charged with driving under the influence and given a Dec. 6 court date.

Underage drinking

Seven teens were arrested around 10:10 p.m. on the 400 block of Quail Run, police said. The girls, from Hinsdale, Darien and Westmont, were given ordinance citations for underage consumption of alcohol and released to their parents, according to the report.
