Police: Man Sleeping in Car Was 3 Times Legal Limit
Police found a man sleeping behind a gas station with two bottles of vodka in the car.
Darien police charged a man with a DUI after they found him sleeping in his car behind the Shell gas station.
Algis C. Modestas, 72, of Willowbrook, was found parked behind the Shell gas station at 8975 Lemont Road at 10:43 p.m. Dec. 6
Police said there was dried vomit on the outside of the driver's door. After waking up Modestas, police said he smelled like alcohol and had glassy eyes and difficulty with motor skills.

According to a police report, there were two bottles of vodka found in the center console of Modestas' car. He took a Breathalyzer test and was three times over the legal limit of .08, police said.
Modestas was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He was given a Jan. 8 court date.
