Thief Ran Off with Library's Tablet Computer: Police

Video captured a man take a Google Nexus tablet from the Indian Prairie Library, according to Darien cops.

Darien police are searching for a thief who stole a computer tablet from the Indian Prairie Library.

Video captured the man carrying a Google Nexus 1016GB tablet out of the library, located at 402 Plainfield Rd., at about 2:06 p.m. on Dec. 5, police said.

Once outside the library, the man was seen running into the parking lot, police said.

The thief is described as a black male, who is in his early 20s and has short black hair. He was wearing a red Cubs baseball cap with a blue brim, a black jacket with a red letter "B" on the front and a red "BLACK" across the back.

Police want to speak with the man pictured in the library surveillance video.
