Three current District 86 board members running for re-election have joined with one would-be newcomer to form a four-candidate slate for this spring's municipal election.

Dennis Brennan, Kay Gallo, DeeDee Gorgol and Roseanne Rosenthal all confirmed that they will pool their efforts to run together for the four seats on the District 86 Board of Education up for grabs on the April 9 ballot.

Their competition includes the three-candidate "Friends for District 86" slate made up of challengers Victor Casini, Ed Corcoran and Claudia Manley, and Roger Kempa, a candidate who has to this point not joined a slate.

Brennan (who lives in Hinsdale), Gallo (Clarendon Hills) and Gorgol (Willowbrook) are all current board members. Brennan is the current board president.

Their slate with Rosenthal, a Hinsdale resident and former District 181 board member, does not yet have a name or website, Gorgol said.
