Darien City Council to Swear in New Members Monday

Three new faces set to join local government.

Following the April 20 release of certified election results from the DuPage Election Commission, Darien City Council will swear in its new members during Monday night’s meeting.

Newly elected alderman Tina Beilke will represent Ward 2, while Joerg Seifert will represent Ward 4. Sylvia McIvor, who ran unopposed, will continue to serve in Ward 6.

JoAnne Ragona will be instilled as city clerk, following the retirement of Joanne Coleman, who served the city for five terms over the course of 20 years.
