Darien Town Hall Meeting to Bring Public Officials, Residents Together
The public is invited to meet with officials from local taxing bodies, including the school districts, Chamber of Commerce, fire districts, library district and park district.
If you have questions or suggestions you want to raise with local public officials, you'll have a chance later this month.
A Darien town hall meeting is planned for Thursday, Sept. 26. It'll go from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Carriage Greens Country Club and Golf Course, 8700 Carriage Green Dr. in Darien.
Officials from the following taxing bodies will be in attendance to answer questions: Cass School District 63, Center Cass District 66, Darien Chamber of Commerce, Darien Park District, Darien Public Schools District 61, Darien Woodridge Fire District, Hinsdale South High School District 86, Indian Prairie Library and Tri-State Fire District.
Mayor Kathleen Weaver is encouraging residents to submit questions on the registration page or email to ldubman@darienil.gov by Sept. 19.
