Why Are You Seeking Office?

I have been a part of the political process in some shape or form since I was 17. When my current alderman John Poteraske decided not to seek re-election some of my neighbors encouraged me to run and here I am.

What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?

Listening. I don't think people listen enough to others and feel they have to come up with solutions and answers immediately.

What do you see as the top three goals for the City of Darien?

• Economic Development. Darien relies on too many big box stores to generate revenue.
• Maintain the superior service the residents have become accustom to.
• Keeping taxes low. With distressed properties on the rise the last several years it's more important than ever to be running as lean as possible.

What can be done to continue the promotion of economic development in Darien?

Working hand in hand with the local Chamber of Commerce and Choose DuPage to help bring quality businesses to the community.
