Darien Lions Club Pancake Breakfast- Draws Many!

Darien Lions annual event attended by over 1100 area residents.

The Darien Lions Club held its annual pancake breakfast on St. Patrick's day morning at Eisenhower Junior High.  As is customary over 1000 people were served according to event Chairman- Lion Ron Kiefer.  Well over 100 children ages 5 and under also partook of a free breakfast.  Special thanks go to 16 local event sponsors, Cub Scout Pack 36 for their active assistance throughout the morning and to Hillshire Farms for a very generous food (sauage patties) donation.  A truly fine- and filling- time appeared to be had by all- and we hope to see you again next March!
