Mark DeLay Elementary School Supply Lists for Grades K-2

Following are lists of school supplies needed by students at Mark DeLay Elementary School this year, according to the district website. 

Kindergarten:

• 3 boxes Crayola Crayons (24-count each box)
• 1 box #2 sharpened plain pencils with erasers
• 4 Expo-brand dry erase markers (any color)
• 5 Elmer’s glue(only Elmer’s) 4 oz. squeeze bottle
• 2 pkgs. washable Crayola markers (fat ones, 8 basic colors)
• 2 boxes Kleenex (200 count)
• 1 pair of headphones
• 1 pair Fiskars-brand scissors (Fiskars only)
• 1 Crayola watercolor set (8 colors)
• 1 container of antibacterial wipes for hands
• 1 large bottle of antibacterial hand gel in pump bottle
• 1 old shirt/smock labeled with name (long-sleeved T-shirts work great)
• 2 boxes of Ziploc bags (gallon size)
• 1 box Ziploc bags (sandwich size)
• 1 personal folder labeled with name (used for daily take-home)
• 2-pocket plain paper folders with prongs (any color)
• 1 clip board (labeled with child’s name)
• 1 pkg. of school-type stickers (any kind)
• 1 back pack large enough to hold supplies and folders
• 1 pair gym shoes (You will have the option of having your child wear gym shoes the day he/she has P.E. or have him/her keep a pair at school.)

Parents are asked not to label their child’s supplies except for take-home folder, clipboard and art smock; and to bring one extra set of clothing in a small plastic bag labeled with child’s name in case of an accident.

First Grade:

• 1 old paint shirt for art

• 1 pkg. of reward stickers
• 1 ruler, marked with inches and centimeters
• 1 plastic school supply box (8-1/2-inches long x 5-3/4 inches wide x 2-1/2 inches high)

Second grade:
