Students got a chance to get some exercise while helping the American Heart Association last week. Each class at Lace Elementary School in Darien spent 90 minutes outdoors engaging in activities, such as jump roping, in order to raise funds for the organization. Family and friends of the students sponsored them for the event, donating money for the amount of time a student spent jumping. Here's a sneak peek at how students spent their day.
