PHOTOS: Tae Kwon Do Demonstration at Lace
Lace Elementary School students watched a Tae Kwon Do demonstration during an anti-bullying assembly.
As part of its ongoing anti-bullying series, brought instructors from to help give kids strategies for dealing with bullies.
Lace teacher Joey Bonanotte said some of the points the kids learned were:
- to remove themselves from the situation;
- how to protect themselves from the threat of danger;
- how to understand differences between bullying, playing or more dangerous situations;
- and who to talk to in case they are bullied or made to feel uncomfortable.
