2011 Walk Now for Autsim Speaks

You know that horrible feeling you get when someone is running their nails across a blackboard?  Well imagine feeling like that all day and that is just one of the issues people with autism can have to deal with on regular basis.

Wanna help?  Come out and walk for kids and adults with Autism on Saturday May 21st.  This is the 8th annual Walk Now for Autism Speaks and it is a great event.  Registration begins at 8am and the walk kicks off at 10:30am.  Entertainment will feature Jim Peterik of the Ides of March and Survivor and recording artist and Darien resident Andrew Salgado.

Oh and you get to walk on the same field as Walter Payton, Mike Ditka, Mike Singletary and the rest of the 1985 Champion Chicago Bears.  This is truly a great event, at a great location, with great entertainment, for a great cause.  Go to the Autism Speaks website below to register.
