High Atop Harlem Irving Plaza's Roof – Harlem Globetrotters Welcome Santa Claus And His Live Reindeer To "Tipoff" Holiday Season

Chicago native and Harlem Globetrotters star Hi Rise Brown takes to the roof of The Harlem Irving Plaza to welcome Santa Claus and two of his live reindeer. The welcoming party, open to the public (9 a.m. to 10 a.m.), will tipoff the holiday season in Chicago, which means Santa at The HIP through Dec. 25 and four Globetrotter games at Allstate Arena on Dec. 29 and 30.

Starting at 9 a.m., Hi Rise will sign autographs and pose for photos with hundreds of mall goers on the roof, located at the top of The HIP's parking garage. Santa is scheduled to arrive to the roof at 9:45 a.m.

The only people to travel more than Santa Claus might just be the World Famous Harlem Globetrotters.  Their dazzling "4 Times the Fun" World Tour will celebrate their 85th season with over 270 games in more than 220 cities in 45 states and six Canadian provinces.  Tickets to see the Globetrotters at Allstate Arena, available at www.harlemglobetrotters.com, make a perfect stocking stuffer.
