Roadrunner Soccer Open House

The Roadrunners Soccer Club, one of the west suburban areas’ most successful and long standing soccer clubs, is conducting an open house for interested players and families to learn more about the club and its travel soccer programs.

The open house is being held to provide interested families a chance to meet representatives from the club, share their experiences, provide feedback to the club and learn about upcoming tryouts and seasonal plans.  For new families, the open house provides a chance to learn about the team formation process and gain an understanding of the club’s approach to youth soccer.  All families that attend the open house will be entered into a drawing for soccer merchandise at an area retail store.

The open house will be held on Thursday, May 12 from 7:30 to 9:00 pm at the Lincoln Center in Downers Grove. 

Currently more than 400 players compete on over 30 teams in age divisions from "under 8" to "under 23".  It has sparked the growth of soccer in the Western Suburbs area by developing players’ love and respect for the game, their teammates, opponents & referees.  The Club’s goal is to service players at their ability levels and strive to prepare players to play at the next level by increasing their own expectations.  Players are constantly challenged to perform towards their highest potential in training sessions and matches and are exposed to a coaching philosophy that stresses individual skill and creativity within a strong sense of teamwork and collective goals. 

Players gain knowledge of the technical, tactical, physical and psychological components of the game through our Roadrunner Way, a common club-wide curriculum.
