Young Eagles

UPDATE SATURDAY MAY 14, 6:45 AM:   Due to poor weather, primarily the low ceiling (low clouds) and the forecast for continued poor weather throughout the morning hours, the May 14th Young Eagles Rally is canceled and rescheduled for next Saturday, May 21st.

The Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 461 is again participating in the EAA's Young Eagles program.  This program introduces young people, ages  8 thru 17, to general aviation by providing free airplane rides. Last year Chapter 461 flew over 265 Young Eagles. The EAA program has flown over 1.6 million young people world wide since the inception of the program in 1992.  Rides are given the second Saturday of every month, April thru October, 9 AM - Noon, weather permitting, at Bolingbrook's Clow International Airport.  It's more than just a ride – check us out at EAAChapter461.org

Please note that the attached pictures are examples of different type of aircraft and in no way imply that these are the actual planes that will be used during/for the Young Eagles rides.
