Hinsdale South 2-0, After Stinging York Dukes Friday Night

The Hornets won the non-conference home game 49-21.

is off to a fast start this football season. The York Dukes felt the Hornets' sting Friday night, 49-21. According to the Sun-Times, Hornet senior quarterback D.J. Deolitsis "completed 6-of-14 passes for 96 yards and carried 18 times for 165 yards, including a 41-yard touchdown that gave the home team a 34-14 lead with 7:16 left in the third quarter."

The Doings called Deolitsis the "team’s projected top offensive player," having completed "65 of 136 passes for 936 yards and 11 touchdowns last season and rushed 123 times for 471 yards and eight TDs" last season.
