Hinsdale South Dancers Head to State Competition

The Hinsdale South competitive dance team is going to state after a second-place finish in sectionals.

Following a second-place finish in sectionals last week, the Hinsdale South High School dance team is heading to state. 

This is the first year competitive dance is recognized as an IHSA sport.

The Hornets finished second in the 2A sectional competition at Andrew High School in Tinley Park with a score of 73.07. That was just behind first-place winner Eisenhower (Blue Island), which scored 73.40.

The dance team is coached by Courtney Gillette, and Heather Riggs is an assistant coach. The roster includes:
