Hinsdale South Looking for Baseball Players to Compete in Alumni Game

Homecoming Weekend is approaching, and with it, the opportunity for former baseball players to step up to the plate, literally. The Hornet Baseball Program will host its third annual "Hornet Baseball Alumni" game on Sept. 22.

The game will start at 1 p.m., and the event will be catered by Buona Beef in Darien.

"It is our hope that this annual event will provide an opportunity for past players to reconnect with the school, former teammates, and coaches," said Hinsdale South Baseball Coach Paul Hoel about the event on the school's athletic page.

The deadline to register for the game is September 14. The school is asking for a $35 donation from all players to cover the cost of their jerseys. Interested athletes are asked to mail a check made out to Hinsdale South, along with their name, graduation year, email and shirt size to:
