USA Today Football Rankings: Mustangs 128th, Hornets 138th in State
Illinois and national rankings have been released for the 2013 high-school football season.
USA Today has released their national rankings of high-school football teams for the 2013 season, and of 579 teams in Illinois, the Downers Grove South High School Mustangs are ranked 128th. and the Hinsdale South High School Hornets are ranked 138th.
In the list, Downers Grove South's offense is ranked 95th and their defense is ranked 187th; Hinsdale South's offense is ranked 142nd and their defense is ranked 159th.
Nationally, the Mustangs are ranked 3,156th; the Hornets are 3,429th.

The top five Illinois teams according to the ranking are: No. 1 Mt. Carmel, Chicago; No. 2 Loyola Academy, Wilmette; No. 3 Lincoln-Way East, Frankfort; No. 4 Glenbard West and No. 5 Neuqua Valley, Naperville.
