Darien Native Singer-Songwriter to Perform at DarienFest
Andrew Salgado is part of the lineup of performers that will take the Mainstage on Saturday, Sept. 8.
Country-pop musician Andrew Salgado, will take the mainstage during DarienFest next month. The Darien resident and grad is scheduled to perform at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 8.
Salgado performed earlier this week at the 's Concert in the Park series in Community Park.
He is currently working with iconic songwriter Jim Peterik of Survivor and Frank Pappalardo of Soundstage on his CD, It's love, it's fun, it's true.

Salgado was recently selected twice as an Artist to Watch by Skope Magazine. His music has been featured on ABC television and Chicago, New York and Los Angeles radio stations.
