Cass Junior High Welcomes THINK! ENERGY Program

On Friday, February 21, 2014 the Cass Junior High School 6th graders participated in an interactive, hands-on presentation that taught the importance of energy conservation.  The program, sponsored  by NICOR and ComEd, also gave each participating student’s family an energy saving kit to install at home.  Some of the items included in the kit were: 3 CFL light bulbs, 3 sink aerators, a 5 minutes shower timer, and a low flow shower head.  For more information, please refer to the following website:

Teachers also have the opportunity to earn grant money based on the return of the family survey that came with the energy saving kit.
