With 68 percent of the vote, El Burrito Loco won this week’s Readers’ Choice poll for Darien’s favorite burrito by a landslide. “Burrito Loco, for sure :),” wrote Frances Magriz. “This shouldn’t even be a discussion,” added Joe Blow, who no doubt was commenting under his real name (right?). “El Burrito Loco has the best Mexican food period. Nobody else is even close.” Congratulations to El Burrito Loco!

Teddy's Red Hots came out with the top potato in this week's Readers' Choice poll. The restaurant got 30 percent of the vote to best runners up McDonald's and Smashburger. "Great chicago style dogs and ya gotta love the fries," wrote Pete Thompson in a review of Teddy's. "Teddy's in Darien is the cleanest place ever and great french fries," chimed in Patsy. With 60 percent of the vote, Pan-Asian restaurant Tai San Chef took the top spot in this week’s Readers’ Choice poll. It was close this week, but one thing was clear: Darien residents love their beef. With 44 percent of the vote, Buona Beef just squeaked out a win over Teddy’s Red Hots.
