TUESDAY, MARCH 26 Someone drove onto a resident's lawn overnight and damaged a light post adjacent to the driveway in the 1100 block of 79th Street. The total loss was $200. MONDAY, MARCH 25 Randall Hultmark, 43, of the 100 block of Iris Road, Darien, was arrested at 1:33 a.m. on the 700 block of Plainfield Road. Hultmark was charged with driving under the influence, failure to signal when required and improper lane usage. He was processed and released with an April 30 court date in Wheaton. MARCH 23 Romualdas Valanius, 51, of the 200 block of Bailey Road, Naperville, was arrested at 1:12 a.m. on the 1400 block of Plainfield Road. Darien police reports, March 22-23

FRIDAY, MARCH 23 Paulo Loredo, 40, of the 300 block of Hummingbird Lane, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 2:06 a.m. near I-55 and Lemont Road. Loredo was charged with driving under the influence, speeding and improper lane usage. He was processed and released with an April 23 court date in Wheaton. Oscar Flores, 20, of the 300 block of Tarrington Way, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 1:32 a.m. on the 7800 block of Lemont Road. Flores was charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no valid driver’s license. He was processed and released with a court date pending in Downers Grove. SATURDAY, MARCH 16 Someone keyed a car parked in a lot on the 7500 block of Farmingdale between 9 p.m. Saturday, March 16 and 2 a.m. Sunday, March 17. Karen Swain, 53, of 7801 Rohrer Drive in Downers Grove, was charged with driving under the influence, speeding and improper lane use at 1:06 a.m. near North Frontage Road just east of Cass Avenue, police said. Swain was processed and released with a court date of April 17 in Wheaton. Norma Herrera-Romero, 38, of 2032 Prentiss Drive in Downers Grove,  was charged with driving with only one headlight and no valid driver’s license at 10:37 p.m. at 75th Street and Cass Avenue, police said. MONDAY, FEB. 18 Alex Santiago, 29, of the 1600 block of Vincennes Street, Crete, was charged with possession of cannabis and drug equipment, police said, after officers came upon Santiago while he was inside a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Plainfield Road at 1:10 a.m. and smelled burnt cannabis. An ensuing search turned up cannabis and drug equipment, police said. Santiago was charged and released to appear in court.
