By Joe O'Donnell A winning lottery ticket worth $162,500 was sold Friday at a gas station in Willowbrook. In a release sent out Monday morning, Illinois Lottery announced that a Lucky Day Lotto ticket purchased at Speedway, 9059 S. Kingery Hwy., had all five winning numbers from Friday night's drawing. Those winning numbers were 03-06-19-33-35, the release said. The numbers were selected automatically via the Quick Pick option. The winning ticket-buyer has yet to come forward. The Speedway store will receive $1,625, 1 percent of the jackpot amount, for selling a winning ticket. People in the area have gotten lucky before:

Check your lottery tickets, folks: Someone in Darien could be $5.75 million richer this morning. The Minuteman Citgo on Plainfield Road in Darien sold a lottery ticket that matches all six of the winning numbers from Wednesday night’s drawing, the Illinois Lottery said. Those numbers are: 02 - 04 - 12 - 16 - 34 – 44 A winner has not yet come forward to claim the prize, Illinois Lottery spokeswoman Madonna Duncan said. The winner needs to sign the back of the ticket and bring it to an official Prize Center.
