Winter Storm Could Produce Season's Heaviest Snowfall in the Area

The forecasted snow expected to hit the Darien and Woodridge communities on Thursday evening is anticipated to be the heaviest snowfall this winter, with three-to-six inches of snow accumulation predicted. Residents in the area can expect to see snow developing after 9 p.m. Thursday. Use our handy live weather map to track the storm’s path to the DuPage area. The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory, which makes sense because it’s winter—and February. A winter weather advisory means periods of snow, sleet or freezing ran may produce hazardous road conditions and other traveling difficulties.
