I first moved to Lemont about four years ago when I was<br>diagnosed with MS to be closer to my family.  Since then I have fallen in love with Lemont and the community of Lemont.  I have two children Ellie, 7 years old who was diagnosed with a Pleomorphic xanthoastrocytoma (PXA) a rare primary brain tumor on January 4th 2011 and Jake, 5 years old who was diagnosed with Sensory integration (SI)<br>when he was one years old.  I have been married for 10 years to the love of my life David Cuiching.  I think our marriage has been successful through all of our ups and downs because of the humor we find in our life struggles.  Dave and I know how to laugh, and I think that this is so important. You will find that some of my blog posts will be very heart wrenching and serious but others will be light, airy with some fun.  Because of Ellie’s condition my life consists of many therapy appointments, chemotherapy, hospital visits, and just being a care giver of two of the greatest children. If you know me, you know I am a very open person who is willing to share pretty much anything.  I have tons of people come up to me on a regular basis telling me they don’t know how I do it.  It’s pretty simple; you either can cry every single day or enjoy every moment you have with your children. Don’t get me wrong I do have my moments when I just cry it out, but for the most part<br>we try to enjoy life to its fullest.  I also have my moments when my kids drive me crazy, if you are a Mother you would understand. So here I am ready to blog<br>but for the most part my blogs will be following Ellie’s journey as she battles cancer.  You will see the up’s and downs of this long path we are on.

I blog more often on Ellie’s Web page we have developed for her it is www.loveforellie.com (just click on &#34;A Mother&#39;s Blog&#34;. We always post any upcoming events that help support Ellie and anything else that is going on in Ellie’s life on that website. Please feel free to visit.
