RIGHT ON MARTY !!! Two men or two women CANNOT NATURALLY CONCEIVE A CHILD TOGETHER !!! I don't give one hoot what you all say, but you canNOT NATURALLY do it !!! There is a reason we are to leave and cleave a man to a woman... I am sorry, and I don't care what you all do, but it is a fact of life. It takes a Man and a Woman to make a child. PERIOD....

ReplyKristine, YES. Her medical issues prevent her from understanding the truth. She's not "all there" if you understand what I'm saying. Either way, the media plays on little things like this and it's pretty sad. She has been told that he is off the hook and working under cover. It blows my mind too. I last saw her shortly before her husband passed away.

ReplyOh my goodness, you guys are a bunch of MORONS (at the Patch !) Thi sjust proves that the media loves to play on things like this... Mrs. Morphey's Husband (second) passed away about a year ago, and she has been dealing with some medical issues of her own. Honestly ?? Do you really want to know WHY she hasn't ever visited him ??? She doesn't even KNOW he is in jail ! She thinks (and has been told) that he is working undercover for the government. Poor thing. Leave the woman alone. Crying out loud. She can't help that her son is a complete turd. Just so sad for his boys... and we ALL know he did it. Keep the creep in jail for ever !

ReplyThanks Linda :) I'm glad to know there are other like minded folks out there. It makes me so sad to know there are so many people who *don't* "CARE" - as our friend Tony stated. It takes a lot of heart to make the world a better place. I'm proud to be one of those who care enough to try... and that I stand up for fairness and compassion. No matter who they are. :)

Reply*Addendum to my above post: "Reason" ie: mental health issues, lack of proper recovery resources, etc. By no means did I mean to imply "enabling" or my not believing in their ability to "un-stick" themselves... But again, the main issue is not judging others when you do not know or understand what the individual issues might be. Have you ever volunteered to help ? How about trying to bring a sandwich or pointing them in the right direction for assistance ? I believe there is a place in Westmont that can offer resources. Just a thought... no need to bite my head off. :) "People are people" as the 80's song goes... and as good ole Satch said: "If lots more of us loved each other, we'd solve lots more problems. And then this world would be better." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nGKqH26xlg

Just be thankful to God that you have a warm home, food and clothing... and that you don't have to drink your troubles away. While they may be "creeps" to some, they are still people, and perhaps if you had an opportunity to walk in the shoes of one less fortunate for a while, you might better understand why or what caused their situations. I do not condone alcoholism, or "bumming" - but some are stuck where they are for a reason, and it is not for us to judge. ;) B KYND 2 !!! *Peace*

I like your thinking Robert !!! I especially loved the Learn to Live with Others quote.... Right on ! It is so sad to think that people just don't CARE about others any more in this world.... It's all about what's pretty and safe and perfect... I have a 21 year old son, and when he was younger, I used to take him with me to PADS to serve. The first time, it was the most humbling experience for both him and I... I thought we would "serve" the food - and act in service, but instead we ended up sitting with the guests and ate with them ! It was very humbling for me especially, because I knew I had food at home to eat, yet I was able to share and get to know the people who were there. Some were entire Families with kids, some were just in need of a good meal and a safe place to clean up. Either way, the people who use PADS are PEOPLE, regardless of status. Sadly, it's people who don't take the time to understand and try to DO something to help that never receive the GIFT of the Blessing it is to learn and open your self up to a new experience. "ANGELS UNAWARES...." Remember ? You never know... *PEACE*
